Send Help was kind of a "Misery-lite meets Gilligan's Isle but the real villain is capitalism" film. Sam Rami definitely did his things there (in a good way) and there's a very subtle Bruce Campbell inclusion. The script is aware of itself and pays most things off. Both McAdams and O'Brien were well cast and believable on their roles.
