My notes

The remaster of this looks great and everyone in the cast is a 'that guy,' which made for an enjoyable watch. But the film suffers most due to the plot not having the guts to swerve hard enough.

The opening sets the film up to be a rather gritty survival film and when they get to the nadir, it swerves and gives the crew a reason to take their helmets off. This starts a path that never gets explored enough, that doesn't get weird enough, to really make for a compelling narrative.
