My notes

A competent and entertaining expansion to the franchise.

I think Nia DaCosta did a really good job keeping to the spirit of the 28 X Later franchise while still bringing her own directorial feel.

My only issue, the one that stands out against a handful of nits, is that this is the one that starts to explain things. It starts to break down the Rage virus and look for a cure. It breaks down the psychology of the men in the mantra 'man is the true monster after all' that runs through the franchise. And starting to open that line of questioning also starts the ruin.

I won't go into details, but like Rogue One, the more you think about this film, the more it falls apart. It's still entertaining, but it starts to resemble a Frisbee film.
