I finally hooked my site’s static file storage up to an AWS S3 bucket - after realizing that Heroku doesn’t persist storage, and thus I couldn’t use the WYSWYG editor to upload images into notes.
I went down several wrong rabbit holes chasing the solution, before getting irritated enough to walk away for a bit. But I came back and finally followed most of what’s in this tutorial to get up and running.
