In 2024, during our planning phase, my team identified two crucial gaps in traditional user stories:
Lack of clarity on the consequences of not implementing a task and the current pain points addressed.
Absence of measurable benefits, hindering effective prioritization.
To address this, we revamped our user stories, but the process proved tedious and repetitive. I half joked and suggested using GPT to do this for us. And then during my lunch break, I transformed the joke into reality.
The result: what used to take hours of writing now only requires minutes of rewriting, turning a time-consuming task into a swift process.
